This year, marking its 45th edition, the world’s largest technology and AI event was nothing short of remarkable, with over 6,500 exhibitors and 400+ government entities from more than 180 countries coming together. Having also participated in GITEX Global 2024, it was inspiring to see how the event has grown — bigger, bolder, and more innovation-driven. With over 200,000 tech leaders, investors, and policymakers coming together, the energy was amazing. We were excited to be part of this incredible event!

• Dubai Municipality and Cisco signed a strategic agreement at the MoU stage, aiming to accelerate Dubai’s journey toward next-generation digital infrastructure. This partnership highlights Dubai’s ongoing commitment to becoming one of the world’s most data-driven and intelligent cities.
• The Ministry of Investment of the UAE and Microsoft also signed an MoU to explore investment analytics and financial forecasting using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, promising a boost to the region’s AI landscape.
• Du, the leading telecom and digital services provider, and Dubai Taxi Company signed an MoU to transition DTC’s platforms to the du National Hypercloud, which will enhance speed, security, and autonomy in Dubai’s transport sector, setting a new standard for smart city solutions.
