Capital Numbers at LEAP 2026: AI Insights and InstaRAG

LEAP 2026 was more than a technology event for us. It gave us four days to connect with business leaders, founders, investors, and technology teams from around the world, exchange ideas, discuss real challenges, and understand what organizations are looking to build next.

Held from August 31 to September 3 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, LEAP 2026 brought together a global technology ecosystem featuring 1,800+ global technology brands, 1,000+ speakers, 1,900+ investors, and 600+ startups.

The scale was impressive. But for us, the most valuable part was the conversations around AI, cloud, data, modernization, automation, and software development. LEAP 2026 was our third consecutive year at the event, following our participation in 2024 and 2025. That continuity has given us a useful view of how the conversation is moving from experimentation toward practical implementation, security, scalability, and results.

What Business Leaders Discussed With Us at LEAP 2026

AI was one of the biggest topics, but the questions were noticeably more practical this year. Leaders were not simply asking what AI could do. They wanted to know how it could work with their existing applications, data, teams, and everyday business processes.

A few priorities came up repeatedly:

• Connecting fragmented business data
• Improving cloud performance and controlling costs

What We Showcased: InstaRAG

One of the solutions we showcased at LEAP was InstaRAG, our reusable RAG engineering accelerator for building customized AI knowledge assistants.

Unlike a fixed chatbot product, InstaRAG is an engineering accelerator that Capital Numbers configures and extends around a defined business use case.

It provides businesses with a faster starting point for:

• Bringing approved public website content and selected PDF documents into a dedicated knowledge environment
• Retrieving relevant information through natural-language questions
• Generating grounded responses based on available business knowledge
• Testing a focused RAG use case before expanding it further

Because the underlying RAG foundation is already in place, teams can focus more on what matters to their business – the information they want to use, the people they want to support, and the workflows or integrations they need.

Major Highlights from LEAP 2026

As we walked through the event and spoke with technology leaders, it was clear that AI, cloud infrastructure, and digital platforms are shaping the region’s next phase of growth. Some key announcements included:

• HUMAIN and Qualcomm Technologies launched Horizon Ultra, a next-generation AI PC powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform.
• NHC Innovation announced the SAR 3.3 billion Khuzam Digital Valley data center project, welcoming NAVER Innovation and BytePlus as its first anchor customers.
• AWS confirmed that its first Cloud Infrastructure Region in Saudi Arabia is on track to launch in December 2026, representing more than $5.3 billion in planned investment.
• Foras AI announced a $20 million investment and M&A initiative to support and acquire AI companies across the MENA region.

Together, these announcements reflected some of LEAP’s strongest themes: enterprise AI, regional cloud infrastructure, connected business operations, and continued investment in technology-led growth.
