Roles & Responsibilities:

Technical Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end execution of enterprise-grade, large-ticket projects from discovery to final sign-off, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline compliance.
Methodology Execution: Implement and manage hybrid execution frameworks—proficient in running Sprints via Scrum/Kanban (Agile) as well as managing rigid, milestone-based phases (Waterfall) based on client contract structures.
Developer-to-PM Leadership: Leverage your past software development experience to participate in technical discussions, review technical estimations, evaluate architecture decisions, and effectively unblock engineeringteams.
Client: Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external enterprise clients, managing expectations, change requests (CRs), project reporting, and executive-level status updates.
Risk: Resource Management: Track and optimize team utilization, forecast technical risks/dependencies, and enforce quality control throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Skills:

Project Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, Hybrid SDLC Models
Management Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana, Monday.com
Technical Background: Prior hands-on experience in Software Development (Java, Python, .NET, Full-Stack, Web/Mobile Applications, or Cloud Architecture)
Delivery: Governance: Resource Allocation, Scope Control, Change Management, Escalation Handling, Risk Mitigation
Soft Skills: Executive Communication, Client Facing / Account Management, Stakeholder Negotiation

Qualification & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Track Record: Proven background of transitioning from a Software Developer/Lead role into Technical Project Management within an IT service-based / consulting environment.

Large Ticket Experience: Demonstrated experience independently handling high-value enterprise clients and multi-team delivery environments.

Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or PRINCE2.
